Some stories start with a grand plan. Ours started with a breakup. And not the tidy kind.

For years, Guillermo had been holding his breath, folding himself into a shape that never quite fit. When that relationship unraveled, something else broke open: the permission to stop pretending. Suddenly, there he was, stepping into his feminine side with a mix of playfulness and wonder, like a kid who'd just found the key to a locked room.

Fashion became his playground. Crop tops, pashminas, little experiments in feeling seen. But soon he craved something deeper. Bold yet tender. Sassy yet refined. He pictured lingerie that wasn't just for one kind of body or one kind of story. He searched everywhere. He came up empty. And in that quiet ache, a spark flickered.

FOD was built by people who genuinely believe in what it stands for. Guillermo Seis, Henrique Spotorno, Maximilian Fischer, and Iris Loewen came together around one shared conviction: lingerie should adapt to the person wearing it, not the other way around.

We've each brought something different to the table. But what we share is a refusal to cut corners, a commitment to doing this with intention, care, and deep respect for the people who wear FOD and the people who make it.

Every FOD piece is crafted to order in our local Viennese atelier. We saw it ourselves: a small, dedicated team doing the work with their hands, with care, with pride. No factory floors, no mass production runs. Just people making things properly.
